HI ! I'm Gina
Have you heard the following statements?
Just get over it!
Isn’t it time to move on?
You keep hearing these questions and wonder why you continue to feel anxious, worried, hopeless, or sad. Almost all of us have suffered from varying degrees of anxiety or depression at some point in our life.
Depending on the severity of anxiety and depression these things can really affect one’s quality of life. Many people are affected with anxiety or depression and it often shows up in their personal relationships, work-life, school, parenting ability, or health goals.
I have been involved in the counseling/helping field for 30 years. My career started in my early 20s in a hospital setting where I quickly realized that I was drawn to the one-on-one work. From that, I transitioned to a position under a policing umbrella as a victim support advocate and trainer. As my career evolved, I received training as a critical incident case manager and was accredited by the national organization in trauma and victimology. It was my privilege to be a Provincial Lead through B.C. and Alberta in large natural disasters and traumatic incidents. It has always been my honour to work with people in large-scale events as well as walking with individuals one-on-one on their personal journey.
When anxiety or depression takes a grip on your life, it is very hard to see where all the pieces to the puzzle should fit, and often we just give up.
When I start working with a client, we start to unpack the tools to fit the pieces of the puzzle together. My clients start to see the images a little clearer and eventually, they understand where the pieces should be best suited to make the picture complete.

“Gina has been so supportive in helping me navigate through a very difficult time in my life. She is the first counselor I have ever had where I felt comfortable enough to fully open up to and be heard. Her suggestions on how to look at things and sometimes the best way on how I see things to change my perspective. I cannot thank her enough for the time care and insight she has given me.”

“What a breath of fresh air. I love the style that Gina brings to the table, it is almost like having a friend that can be objective. She tells it like it is, and guides you in the direction, putting you back on the right path.
Honestly, she is my favorite hour of the week. Thanks Gina!!”

“I’m loving this opportunity to share how grateful I am for Gina’s compassionate heart, solid wisdom, and strong guidance in helping me navigate through some very hard and challenging times. I believe her many years of helping people in the midst of life’s most severe crisis situations has gifted and equipped her with the ability to give solid support to those dealing with tragedies, traumas, and life’s challenges. My husband has battled for many years with serious drug addiction that stemmed from a very traumatic childhood. She has been a solid anchor to us both during some very dark and tumultuous times that only someone who has gone through loving someone in addiction can comprehend or understand.
Thank you Gina for your invaluable support and guidance that you provided with your beautiful calming demeanor.”
